The Beginning
It started with a half-burnt candle. A flicker. A feeling.
And a page in my sketchbook where the wax accidentally dripped — and somehow, that mess looked… beautiful.
Hi, I’m Akanksha — a designer by heart, a storyteller by instinct, and apparently, a candle witch by night. I didn’t want to just “start a business.” I wanted to create little sculptures of scent and light. Something you could hold, see, smell — and feel.
Because I’ve always felt that light isn’t just brightness — it’s emotion.
It’s that glow on your wall when you’re deep in thought. The smell of comfort after a long day. The flicker that turns silence into softness. So in 2024, I poured my first candle — with shaky hands and a heart full of hope — and called it Light N Hope.
Born from a mix of design thinking, late-night mood boards, endless scent trials, and my love for handmade imperfection. Light N Hope is for the romantics, the rebels, the ones who feel too much and dream too big. It’s Gen Z spirit, wrapped in wax. It’s not just candles. It’s art. It’s mood. It’s memory.
And maybe, it’s me — writing my story one flame at a time.

We obsess over textures, tones, and the way light dances when it flickers.
From picking the right vessel to testing that one perfect note of vanilla chai or sea breeze — it’s all intentional.
